Subject: I’m DAFT!!!Hello, All…
I came up with an acronym that fits me — DAFT. It stands for Delightfully Alcohol Free Today. Or, you could substitute all kinds fun D words — deliciously, deliriously, delectably, daintily — but the point is that it is a positive spin on being conscious and actively about this business of life.
The “T” — Today — is meaningful to me, too, because that’s the most important time span to address.
Of course, there are days when being alcohol-free doesn’t feel like anything more than a struggle or a burden. Some times, the only way to reframe something is to begin using the positive words before we’re feeling them.

It’s also a good pun… I’m perfectly content admitting that I’m more than a little nuts on a regular basis. Describing myself as DAFT hits multiple buttons, reminds me not to take myself too seriously, tells me that I’m crazy enough to find the sanity I need when things get out of balance.
Whaddya think? How many others are DAFT today?
